Perhaps this is in part due to the fact that my college does not have a pre med degree and we must gain all of our requirements for med school on top of whatever degree we pick. I’m so sick of hearing people complain we’re angsty, anti social, egotistical pricks. The high entrance standards are simply a way to make sure you can hack it when you get here. But I found that its hard to get so curious to ask s of questions to professors and what not when you go to a school where there are at least people in each major class but labs, where labs are poorly coordinated half the time and not really correlating with what is being thought in the main lecture classes, where professors contradict things from the books and notes, etc.
